Garrett P. Tyler is a Nashville-based drummer, musical director, producer, and educator whose genre-spanning artistry has captivated audiences from the United States to Europe, Asia, and Central America. Known for his soulful personality and creative versatility, Garrett combines precision, energy, and innovation to deliver unforgettable live and recorded performances.

After earning his Master’s in Commercial Drumset Performance at Belmont University under Todd London and Chester Thompson (Genesis, Phil Collins, Frank Zappa, Weather Report, Eric Clapton), Garrett joined the world-renowned Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps (2012–2015). He contributed to a DCI World Championship Gold Medal in 2012 and Silver Medal in 2013, performed internationally including at the prestigious Basel Tattoo in Switzerland, and led clinics and masterclasses worldwide through the Blue Devils’ System Blue program.

Garrett currently holds multiple high-profile roles as a musical director and drummer:

• For King & Country – Four-time GRAMMY Award-winning pop duo. Garrett drives the live performance as MD and drummer, crafting arrangements and leading the rhythm section, collaborating with icons such as Dolly Parton, Kirk Franklin, Tori Kelly, Lecrae, CeCe Winans, Hillary Scott, Timbaland, and Jordin Sparks.

• Steven Curtis Chapman – Five-time GRAMMY Award-winning Christian artist with over 11 million albums sold. Garrett serves as MD and drummer on the 25th Anniversary Tour of Speechless.

• Marc Scibilia – Billboard-charting singer-songwriter with millions of streams worldwide. Garrett toured with him on a 2025 world tour, is working on his upcoming album, and will join the second leg of the tour this fall.

• Kesha – Multi-platinum recording artist and Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper. Garrett served as co-MD and arranger for her tour this year.

• Zara Larsson – Swedish pop sensation with multiple international hits, MTV EMA awards, and Platinum-certified singles. Garrett co-MDs and arranges her live show for her upcoming fall tour.
