
Garrett P. Tyler is a Nashville-based drummer, musical director, producer, and educator whose genre-spanning artistry has captivated audiences from the United States to Europe, Asia, and Central America. Known for his soulful personality and creative versatility, Garrett combines precision, energy, and innovation to deliver unforgettable live and recorded performances.
After earning his Master’s in Commercial Drumset Performance at Belmont University under Todd London and Chester Thompson (Genesis, Phil Collins, Frank Zappa, Weather Report, Eric Clapton), Garrett joined the world-renowned Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps (2012–2015). He contributed to a DCI World Championship Gold Medal in 2012 and Silver Medal in 2013, performed internationally including at the prestigious Basel Tattoo in Switzerland, and led clinics and masterclasses worldwide through the Blue Devils’ System Blue program.
